Job summary

Early Settler is seeking a dynamic Retail Consultant to join our store team in Australia. You will deliver personalised customer experiences, understand customer needs, and recommend items that match their home visions while helping to achieve store KPIs and sales targets.

You are passionate about home styling with strong communication skills and can balance customer care with administrative duties. The role includes lifting and moving products as part of daily duties in a fun, supportive team

Qualifications

• At least 2 years retail experience in home/lifestyle products preferred.
• Strong ability to engage with customers to understand their vision for their home.
• Ability to balance customer care with administrative duties.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and contribute to KPIs.
• Willingness to lift/move products as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Ascertain customer's needs and recommend items that match.
• Keep product knowledge up to date to describe features and benefits.
• Upsell and cross-sell where appropriate and inform customers about promotions.
• Consistently provide exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrate company values in every customer interaction.
• Ensure store presentation aligns with VM guidelines.
• Assist, resolve or escalate customer concerns promptly.
