Job Description

Our stores are open every day, including weekends and holidays – there's never a dull moment with plenty of variety. We do supermarkets a bit differently, you’ll get to experience all areas of the store rather than just be in one area, giving you lots of variety.

Responsibilities

• Being a customer service superstar and serving customers at the registers with a smile.
• Keeping shelves stocked with products so that our customers can find all their favourites.
• Being an expert in stock handling by making sure our products are in date and listed at the right price.
• Creating eye-catching displays of our ALDI special buys.
• Keeping the store tidy, organised and looking great.

What you will do

• Drive daily retail sales to meet and exceed individual and store-wide revenue KPIs.
• Negotiate purchasing and lending contracts with customers, requiring high emotional intelligence and commercial awareness.
• Assess second-hand goods for quality, authenticity, and market value.
• Maintain a 100% commitment to a positive team culture, actively contributing to an environment free of negativity and focused on outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a structured, KPI-driven sales or financial services environment (Please note: general transactional retail or fast-food service experience will not meet the requirements).
• Availability for 100% full-time hours. We are not currently accepting applications for casual or part-time schedules.
• A demonstrated ability to handle high‑pressure situations, overcome objections, and remain composed during complex customer negotiations.
• A resilient, target‑oriented mindset that thrives on hitting metrics rather than finding them stressful.
• Work within a highly profitable, actively growing network of stores with strong leadership.

• Full weekend availability will be advantageous.
