Prices Plus/Overflow is a family-owned Australian retailer seeking a Junior Retail Assistant for overflow Atherton. This casual/part-time role offers hands-on training, friendly team support, and a clear path to develop retail skills while working across weekends and varying shifts.

Ideal for a motivated learner who can stay on their feet, handle stock duties, and provide great customer service. Award rates apply with weekend and holiday loading where applicable, plus staff discounts and EAP

Qualifications

A positive attitude and a willingness to learn — no retail experience required
Reliability: turning up on time for every rostered shift
Confidence talking to customers and working as part of a team
Broad availability across the week, including weekends
Ability to be on your feet for a full shift and to lift and move stock safely

Responsibilities

Welcoming customers and giving friendly, helpful service
Operating the register and processing sales, refunds and exchanges on our POS system
Receiving stock, replenishing shelves and keeping product presentation neat
Setting up promotions and ticketing as directed
Keeping the store clean, tidy and well presented
Following work health and safety procedures and reporting hazards
