You’ll work a roster from 5:45am to 3:45pm on weekdays, enjoy a 4-day week, and benefit from a mix of office, on-site and from-home work with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork.
Great work starts with the right resources. You’ll process and receipt purchase requisitions, check supplier invoices against contract rates and maintain accurate purchasing, compliance and quality assurance records. You’ll also administer systems supporting resource allocation, plant and truck compliance and staff leave, working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve system issues and improve procedures.
You’ll work on a roster with the Coordinator to cover the Resources Section’s operating hours of 5:45am to 3:45 pm each weekday that City Works operates.
You’re organised, approachable and ready to find a way forward when priorities shift. You enjoy working with people, negotiating practical outcomes and keeping track of the details that make a busy operation run smoothly. With a strong customer service focus, you can manage a high volume of work, meet tight deadlines and build productive relationships with colleagues, suppliers and contractors. You must also meet the following criteria:
