Job summary

Kingfisher Bay Resort is seeking an enthusiastic Resort Ranger to bring K'gari's natural and cultural story to life through guided walks, Junior Ranger programs and guest experiences.

You'll lead nature-based activities, share local knowledge and ensure safe, engaging visits across our World Heritage island, whether live-on-site or commuting from the mainland. You’ll inspire curiosity and appreciation while supporting our guests and teams.

Qualifications

• Passion for nature, conservation, culture or outdoor education.
• Confidence speaking to groups of all ages.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Current Driver Licence.
• First Aid, CPR and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).

About the Role

You’ll help bring K'gari to life through engaging experiences that connect guests with the island's natural beauty, cultural significance and unique environment.

Working across a variety of ranger-led activities, you’ll guide guests, share local knowledge and create experiences that inspire curiosity, learning and a deeper appreciation for this remarkable World Heritage-listed destination.
