Job summary

MedRecruit Limited is assisting with locum cover for a 300-bed public hospital in Tasmania. Shifts include Day, Night and On-call, with rates of 140 AUD per hour and 150 AUD per hour for night shifts; on-call rate is 140 AUD daily.

Travel and accommodation are provided. Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner. The hospital serves a broad community and operates within a dynamic health organisation.

Job description

Locum cover is required for:

• 3 - 16 November 2026
• 7 Dec 2026 - 29 January 2027

Position Details:

• Shift times: Day, Night and on call
• Rate: $140.00 Per Hour
• $150.00 Per Hour for night shift (20:00 - 08:30)
• $140.00 On call – please note this is a flat $140.00 daily rate for being on call.
