Job summary

Definition Landscape & Design is seeking a motivated Landscape Gardener or Apprentice in Brisbane to join our maintenance team. You’ll work on high-quality residential gardens across Brisbane, gaining hands-on experience in horticulture, irrigation, lawn care and garden maintenance, with a clear pathway to a Certificate III in Parks & Gardens.

Qualifications

• Has genuine interest in plants, gardens and horticulture.
• Holds a current manual driver’s licence.
• Has full Australian working rights.
• Holds a Construction White Card, or is willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Pruning, hedging and shaping plants.
• Garden maintenance and weed control.
• Plant health, fertilising and soil improvement.
• Lawn mowing, edging, care and renovation.
• Inspecting, adjusting and repairing irrigation systems.
• Mulching, planting and garden improvements.
• Identifying plant health, pest and irrigation issues.
• Keeping properties clean, tidy and presentable.
• Communicating professionally with clients.
