Job summary

Aplus Agency in the St George area of Sydney NSW is recruiting a Residential Care Officer on a full-time, ongoing basis. You will provide care, supervision and practical assistance to clients living in supported accommodation, helping them maintain safety and independence according to individual care plans and NDIA requirements.

The role may involve rosters including evenings, weekends, public holidays and sleepover shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be able to obtain required checks and certifications.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Working with Children Check where required.
• First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Valid Australian driver's licence.

Responsibilities

About the Organisation

Aplus Agency is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing NDIS provider delivering high-quality supported accommodation and disability services throughout Sydney.

The organisation currently operates more than 20 residential properties, providing safe and supportive housing to clients with diverse and complex care needs.

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced and compassionate Residential Care Officer to join its team in the St George area on a full-time, ongoing basis.

About the Role

The Residential Care Officer will provide care, supervision and practical assistance to clients living in supported residential accommodation.

The successful candidate will help clients maintain their safety, independence and quality of life while ensuring that support is delivered in accordance with individual care plans, NDIS requirements and organisational policies.

The position may involve rostered shifts, including evenings, weekends, public holidays and sleepover shifts.

The successful candidate must hold, or be able to obtain:

• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• A current Working with Children Check, where required.
• A current First Aid and CPR certificate.
• A valid Australian driver's licence.
• Any additional screening or mandatory training required for the position.
