Residency by Dillons is a boutique family run aged care home located in the heart of Mount Lawley. Our home provides residents with equal access to care in a supportive and friendly environment. We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Care Manager to secure this exciting opportunity and represent a dynamic health & aged care organisation.

The position would suit an experienced Facility Manager in the aged care industry. Applicants must be a Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration. You would be responsible for leading and managing the facility to ensure quality care and services for our residents.

You will be well supported by an experienced executive team from the Head Office (offsite). You will be rewarded with a competitive salary + super (dependent on experience).

You will lead, manage & mentor your workforce onsite to ensure both clinical and non‑clinical outcomes are being met and that the well‑being of all residents is being optimised. You will lead the team while representing our values and contribute towards meeting our strategic business objectives.

The Requirements:

Will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of the facility while being supported by a team of experienced staff.

Assess, coordinate and monitor the individual needs and the provision of appropriate care to meet individual requirements of all residents.

Successfully manage the day‑to‑day operations of the facility.

Manage staff with regards to rostering, employee grievances and performance as well as compliance with education and training requirements.

Providing Management support to the Admin Manager onsite and ensuring all staff are following correct Policies and Procedures.

Liaise with residents and/or relatives on an ongoing basis to ensure that residents’ rights and responsibilities are maintained and to assist in dispute resolution in the event of conflict.

Ensure ongoing adherence to WHS policies, assisting with ensuring the environment is safe for residents and staff.

Promote understanding of, and respect for, each resident’s values, preferences, and individuality, with a strong focus on person‑centred care in the delivery of all services.

Overseeing clinical governance to ensure safe, effective, and person‑centred care, in line with legislative requirements and the Strengthened Aged Care standards. Provide clinical leadership to ensure evidence‑based practice across the service.

Undertake documentation in accordance with the policies and procedures.

Actively participate in the continuous improvement program.

Lead the team onsite in all aspects of meeting resident care requirements.

Works towards the professional development of team members onsite.

Assist with Accreditation Compliance and supporting all departments to ensure that your facility meets all Aged Care Quality Standards.

Knowledge and understanding of AN‑ACC assessments.
