MedRecruit Limited seeks a Resident Medical Officer for Surgery to cover a locum position in NSW's outback. The role runs from 16 November 2026 to 1 February 2027, with an hourly rate of AUD 130. Travel and accommodation are included as part of the package.

The hospital is a 98-bed regional centre offering inpatient and outpatient services, including cancer care, gynaecology, mental health, and general medical and surgical services. A Royal Flying Doctor Base is nearby.

Qualifications

• Must hold current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
• PGY3 level or higher in surgical training.

Be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing services to the NSW outback.

Located in a classic outback town with heaps of personality, this 98-bed hospital is a major referal centre for the region. It provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services including caner care, gynaecology, mental health and general medical and surgical services.

The recent $30-million upgrades and redevelopments have been completed, with an upgraded oncology unit and ambulatory wing reconfiguration. A Royal Flying Doctors Base is also located nearby.
