The Care Services Assistant - Hospitality Casual role focuses on nutrition, dining, and assisting with meal preparation, presentation and service to residents, supporting choices and dignity during mealtimes in Orange NSW.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• A compassionate and caring attitude.
• Previous restaurant and/or commercial kitchen experience (highly regarded).
• Willingness to take direction from others.
• Reliability and shift flexibility.
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Complete a police check and/or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, delivery, presentation and serving of resident meals.
• Provide care and support aligned with residents' preferred daily routines with a focus on nutrition.
• Assist with maintaining dining areas and ensure meal service meets individual resident choices.
• Engage with residents to provide social and emotional support during mealtimes.
• Maintain nutrition and diet information as required.
• Assist with food safety per Bolton Clarke standards and dining framework.
