About the Role

As a Research Support Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality research across the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). Working closely with the Research Ethics and Governance Officer, you will assist with communications, reporting, and the maintenance of research policies, ensuring that projects operate smoothly, ethically, and in accordance with organisational standards. You will also support post-approval monitoring activities, including the submission of annual reports and processing of amendments. Your contribution will help facilitate meaningful research that positively impacts patient care and healthcare outcomes.

In this engaging role, you will collaborate with researchers, clinicians, and other stakeholders to provide timely and accurate support across research activities. Your attention to detail, organisational skills, and proactive approach will be essential in maintaining high standards of governance, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring the efficient administration of research processes. About You

You are an organised and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced research support environment and IT skills, you work collaboratively to ensure smooth operations and accurate management of research data.

You have proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing competing priorities and resolving issues effectively.

You possess well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with experience liaising across multidisciplinary teams and engaging with a variety of stakeholders.

You are highly competent in Microsoft Office, office administration processes, data management, reporting, and the use of computerised information systems.

You have knowledge of databases, data reporting and presentation, and an understanding of research-related website content and social media.
