Job summary

Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney is seeking a Research Officer (Health Manager Level 1) for a temporary part-time position (16 hours per week, up to 12 months). You will assist with planning, data management and reporting of research projects within the unit, across multiple projects and collaborations.

The ideal candidate will have a health-related degree or relevant research experience, strong written and verbal communication, and experience with REDCap or data linkage.

Qualifications

• Health related degree and/or experience in research, clinical trials or relevant experience.
• Experience with clinical data extraction, REDCap database management, data linkage, ethics submissions is preferred.
• Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and participate in the presentation of research study findings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, implementation, coordination, data management and reporting of research projects.
• Support across multiple projects, developing and implementing protocols and ethics submissions.
• Engage with internal and external collaborators to maintain productive working relationships.
• Contribute to data collection, data analysis and report writing.
