Job summary

Nepean Hospital invites applications for a Research Governance and Development Manager. This temporary full-time role leads the Research Development and Governance Unit across NBMLHD, based at Nepean Hospital.

You will partner with the Director of Research Operations to ensure robust governance, support ethical, high-quality research, and work with clinicians, researchers and stakeholders to strengthen capability and improve health outcomes for Western Sydney communities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in research management within Local Health District or university
• Solid knowledge of HREC and RG frameworks including NHMRC National Statement
• Proven leadership of diverse research teams across disciplines
• Ability to implement organisational change at management level

Responsibilities

• Oversee research governance and development functions across NBMLHD
• Collaborate with clinicians, researchers and stakeholders to strengthen capability
• Support growth of high-quality, ethical and impactful research
• Lead governance processes and ensure robust governance standards across the district
