Job summary

Resources Group in Sydney is seeking a Research Consultant to join our growing team. The role involves leading mixed-methods research projects, turning client questions into actionable recommendations, and building strong client relationships.

You will design research strategies, manage projects end-to-end, and contribute to proposals while exploring new methodologies and AI-enabled tools. A 1-3 year track record in insights or consulting is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in market research or related consulting environment.
• Experience delivering quantitative and/or qualitative research projects.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to tell the story behind the data.
• Clear, engaging writing and presentation skills.
• Confidence communicating with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong project management and attention to detail.
• Curious, proactive mindset focused on solving business problems.
• Experience with SPSS or similar analytical tools would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design research approaches to address commercial and customer challenges.
• Manage quantitative and qualitative projects from setup through delivery.
• Develop questionnaires, discussion guides and research materials.
• Coordinate fieldwork, timelines, budgets and project logistics.
• Analyze data and identify themes and opportunities.
