University of Adelaide, based at the Australian Centre for Precision Health on the SAHMRI campus in Adelaide, seeks a researcher to advance epidemiology and precision health research. You will analyse large-scale genomic and population health data, publish findings, and collaborate with epidemiology, biostatistics, genomics and ML experts.
The role is a 2-year fixed-term, full-time appointment within the Nutritional and Genetic Epidemiology Group.

You will contribute to research addressing some of today's most important public health challenges, including healthy ageing, chronic disease prevention, and cognitive health. Your work will involve analysing large-scale genomic and population health data to advance scientific understanding and inform strategies that support healthier lives and better health outcomes. Supported by NHMRC Investigator Grant funding, this role offers the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to research with real-world impact while working at the forefront of epidemiology and precision health.
This position sits within the Nutritional and Genetic Epidemiology Group at Australian Centre for Precision Health,
reporting directly to Professor Elina Hypponen. You will join a multidisciplinary team of researchers, working with experts in epidemiology, biostatistics, genomics, and machine learning.
