Job summary

Seven West Media in Bunbury, WA is seeking reporters to join our South West team, covering six mastheads across the region. This is a hands-on role for a hungry, community-minded storyteller, offering a broad newsroom stepping stone in a regional setting.

You will craft compelling content, build sources, and deliver accurate reports across print and digital platforms. Weekend shifts and some travel are part of the role as you help tell the stories that matter to local audiences.

Key Responsibilities: As a reporter you will have the chance to create high-quality, accurate content that informs, entertains and keeps our audience engaged. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, breaking news and developing relationships with key sources. Expect to juggle multiple stories, deadlines and platforms and be prepared for weekend work and the occasional travel.
