Job summary

TK Elevator Australia is seeking a Repairs Technician for our Queensland branch. You will attend breakdowns, perform repairs and support the service team to keep the run of operations smooth in a demanding environment.

The role requires an Electrical Licence, a background in lift repairs, and the ability to work unsupervised while communicating clearly with customers and colleagues. A proactive, safety-focused mindset is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Current Electrical Licence required.
• Experience with lifts and repair work.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Good fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend and reduce breakdowns at client sites.
• Perform repairs and service on lifts and escalators.
• Take Form 15A certifications, testing, call rate and maintenance visits.
• Procurement of parts where required.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on site.

We currently have a permanent position available within our QLD Branch of a Repairs Technician. Reporting to the QLD Service & Renew Manager, you will be directly responsible for attending and reducing breakdowns and maintain the service run in addition to assisting in the department with repairs as they arise. The successful applicant will hold a current Electrical Licence, possess excellent communication skills and be well presented at all times.

Your Responsibilities:

• Action customer complaints or enquiries
• After-hours call-outs
• Take Remedial action to rectify shutdowns
• Repairs / technical site specific work
• Form 15A certifications testing Call rate / maintenance visits and missed maintenance
• Procurement of parts where required
• Maintenance statement testing
• Ensure GSM is adhered to

Your Experience:

• Previous lift experience, comprehensive and chargeable repair work in particular
• An enthusiasm to learn
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Good fault finding ability
