Job summary

Europcar Mobility Group is hiring a Sales & Customer Service Officer in Maroochydore South on a casual basis. You will greet customers, process rental agreements, and upsell additional products and services to boost sales.

Applicants should have experience in sales or customer service, strong communication skills, and comfort using computer systems. A valid Australian driver’s license and the ability to work a rotating shift, including weekends, are required.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Greet and assist customers in renting vehicles as based on their preferences and needs
• Process rental agreements accurately and efficiently
• Promote and upsell additional products and services
• Address customer inquires and concerns promptly and professionally, with a service first approach
• Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets
• Inspect vehicles before and after rental periods, noting any damages
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, services, and products to assist with sales efforts
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
• Detailing and cleaning vehicles to business quality standards
• Refuel and transport vehicles

To be considered, you should possess:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service or retail
• Car rental experience is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset
• Confident using computer systems and technology
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Flexibility to work on a rotating shift roster - 7 day shift work including weekends and public holidays
• Valid Australian driver's license with a clean driving record
• Full working rights in Australia (current and ongoing)
• A positive, proactive and team-oriented attitude!

Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts war das Auto ein Luxus, der der Elite vorbehalten war, aber es interessierte alle und zog die Massen an: 1898 fand in Paris die erste Autoschau statt. Die Autovermietung wird einige Jahre später jenseits des Atlantiks das Licht der Welt erblicken, aber ihre Entwicklung wird durch den Ersten und dann durch den Zweiten Weltkrieg gestoppt. In der Nachkriegszeit greift ein Pariser Unternehmer die Idee wieder auf: "Wenn man es sich nicht leisten kann, ein Auto zu kaufen, warum mietet man es nicht, wenn man es braucht?".
