Job summary

Estates Now is a growing Australian boutique law firm seeking a motivated Junior Wills & Estates Lawyer to join our team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from home anywhere in Australia.

Working directly with Principal Lawyer Abbey John, you will gain hands-on experience in wills, estate planning, testamentary trusts, powers of attorney, probate and deceased estate administration. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with clients, takes initiative and wants to

Qualifications

Must be admitted to practise law in Australia.
Experience in wills, estates, probate or succession law is highly regarded.
Strong drafting, research and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial client consultations and obtain estate-planning instructions under supervision.
Draft wills, powers of attorney and other estate-planning documents.
Assist with testamentary trusts and more complex succession matters.
Prepare probate applications and estate-administration documentation.
Maintain accurate electronic client files and meet deadlines.
Work closely with the Principal Lawyer to deliver excellent client service.
