Job summary

Babcock Australia & New Zealand is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System across the full engineering lifecycle. You will investigate issues, develop practical solutions and help deliver safe, compliant outcomes for complex defence programs.

Qualifications

Experience in relatable engineering roles within Defence or regulated environments.
Familiarity with engineering toolsets (PLM/MRP, design, simulation).
Experience with Systems Engineering Lifecycle and problem solving.
Knowledge of RF/HF or communications domains is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support design, delivery, acceptance and sustainment of defence systems.
Contribute to technical investigations, engineering documentation and risk assessments.
Assist in customer reviews and ensure time, cost and quality targets.
Mentor and share knowledge with the wider engineering team.
