Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a data engineering professional to map data sources, data movement, interfaces, and analytics within PLM and MDM platforms. You will perform defined technical tasks on PLM engagements under senior guidance and contribute to building reusable service-oriented components.

You will validate data quality, participate in project discussions, develop, configure, and test designs, and explore new tools while adhering to enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of professional experience or equivalent combinations.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Application Engineering.
• Military experience considered equivalent to professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute data mapping, data movement, and interface tasks supporting data quality within PLM/MDM.
• Participate in technical discussions and document design decisions.
• Develop, configure, and test designs for assigned components and tasks.
• Follow enterprise architecture standards and governance.
• Research tools and emerging technologies to support projects.
• Build service-oriented, reusable software components.
• Hands-on execution; build POCs using established design patterns.
• Collaborate with project leads to align work with goals.
• Engage with business functions to address data-related integration issues.
