Alignerr is seeking detail-oriented transcriptionists fluent in Simplified Chinese to produce accurate verbatim transcripts of spoken Chinese audio. This is a fully remote, hourly contract role with flexible scheduling, ideal for those in the Sydney area or anywhere with reliable internet.

Candidates should demonstrate sharp listening skills, the ability to distinguish multiple speakers, and strict adherence to formatting guidelines.

Qualificações

• Native or near-native fluency in Simplified Chinese (listening and writing).
• Excellent listening skills and nuance in speech patterns.
• Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to precise work.
• Able to distinguish between multiple speakers in recordings.
• Able to follow detailed formatting and style guidelines accurately.
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.

Responsabilidades

• Listen to audio in Chinese and produce verbatim Simplified Chinese transcriptions.
• Identify and distinguish between multiple speakers within recordings.
• Capture crosstalk, overlaps, filled pauses, false starts and self-corrections.
• Handle challenging audio: background noise, low quality, varying accents/speeds.
• Apply detailed style guides and formatting consistently across transcriptions.
• Flag unclear or unintelligible segments per protocol.
• Maintain high accuracy and consistency across large volumes of content.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
