Job summary

ICON plc in Australia is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate to oversee monitoring of clinical trial sites from home-based Australia. You will ensure studies are conducted per protocol, regulatory standards and GCP, while driving data quality and site performance.

You will lead on monitoring activities, conduct site visits, collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely data collection, and provide guidance to site staff. Travel approximately 60% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field.
• Extensive experience as a Clinical Research Associate with strong regulatory knowledge.
• Proven ability to manage multiple sites and projects simultaneously.
• Expertise in monitoring practices, data integrity, and site management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements, and GCP standards.
• Conduct site visits to assess site performance, resolve issues, and support trial execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting.
• Provide training and guidance to site staff and other CRAs to maintain high standards of trial conduct.
• Build and maintain relationships with site personnel and stakeholders to facilitate smooth trial operations.
