Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a sharp and analytical Remote Retail Data Analyst to deliver insights on sales performance and customer behavior. You will collect, clean, and interpret large retail datasets, developing dashboards and reports that track KPIs and inform strategic decisions across marketing, sales, and operations.

The ideal candidate has strong quantitative skills, experience with SQL, Python, R, Tableau or Power BI, and excellent communication to convey findings to diverse stakeholders in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics).
• Proven Data Analyst experience, preferably in retail.
• Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools: SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze large volumes of retail data from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs.
• Identify trends and insights related to sales, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve sales, optimize inventory and engagement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet data needs and provide analytical support.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and new data analysis techniques.
