Job summary

Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) invites applications for a Research & Online Experience Librarian. The role supports teaching, learning and research by delivering research services and managing online resources.

You will work with a small library team to enhance access, provide consultations, train users, and promote library services across AFTRS. This is a full-time ongoing position with flexible and remote-work options.

Qualifications

Experience in library services supporting teaching, learning and research.
Ability to develop and deliver research skills programs and initiatives for students and staff.
Experience with library websites, intranet and online resources, including discovery tools.
Knowledge of copyright compliance and archival practices within an academic library.

Responsibilities

Design, deliver and promote research skills programs for AFTRS students and staff.
Liaise with AFTRS stakeholders to support programmatic and student needs.
Maintain and enhance the Library’s online presence (websites, intranet, Moodle).
Provide research support and consultations to individuals and small groups.
Develop study materials and guides to improve access to library resources.
