Alignerr is seeking a Population Health Informaticist to help train AI models that reason about population health and public health data. This remote hourly contract role offers flexible hours and the chance to shape AI systems at scale.

You will evaluate AI outputs, annotate health data scenarios, and design dashboards and data pipelines for AI training. Strong communication and self-direction are essential for asynchronous work.

Qualifications

• Experienced working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets.
• Skilled in data analytics, visualization, and reporting tools.
• Able to critically evaluate data-driven insights and identify where AI reasoning falls short.
• Strong communicator who can translate complex findings into clear, structured feedback.
• Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously on task-based assignments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated responses and outputs related to population health, epidemiology, and public health informatics for accuracy and quality.
• Review, annotate, and analyze population-level health data scenarios to help AI systems reason more effectively.
• Identify gaps, errors, or misleading conclusions in AI-generated health insights and suggest improvements.
• Design or assess dashboards, data pipelines, and reporting frameworks within AI training contexts.
• Translate complex health data concepts into clear, structured feedback that improves AI model performance.
• Support surveillance, monitoring, and health equity evaluation tasks within AI workflows.
