Alignerr is seeking a Physics Subject Matter Expert to help train and evaluate AI models in Sydney and across Australia. This fully remote, flexible contract role focuses on physics expertise rather than AI background.

You will design advanced physics problems, develop clear solutions, and assess AI-generated explanations for accuracy. Collaboration with researchers will shape benchmarks and improve AI reasoning in mechanics, EM, thermodynamics, and quantum topics.

Qualifications

• Must hold a master's degree in physics or closely related field.
• Ability to design rigorous physics problems across mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum topics.
• Excellent written communication and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

Responsabilités

• Design challenging physics problems across mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum physics.
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions that show precise reasoning.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy and depth of reasoning.
• Collaborate with researchers to develop benchmarks spanning undergrad to Masters level physics.
• Provide structured feedback to help AI systems reason like expert physicists.
