Heart and Vascular is seeking an organised Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeper to join our Finance team in a part-time, remote role (2 days per week). You will support day-to-day activities such as accounts payable, basic record-keeping and reconciliations, with potential to take on more responsibilities as you grow with the business.

The role emphasizes independence, accuracy and timely delivery, with a collaborative culture that values growth and continuous improvement within our finance function.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll or general finance administration.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely and independently, meeting deadlines.
• Familiarity with MYOB or similar accounting systems.

Responsabilités

• Process supplier invoices, including checking, coding, entering and preparing invoices for payment approval.
• Complete bank, credit card and general account reconciliations in MYOB.
• Assist with month-end activities, including processing journals, accruals and balancing ledgers.
• Support basic accounts receivable activities, including customer invoices and debtor follow-up.
• Maintain accurate, well-organised and confidential finance records.
• Work collaboratively to resolve transactional discrepancies.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance systems, workflows, data quality and efficiency.
