Job summary
Avance Clinical is seeking an Australian-based Medical Director, Oncology, to lead the Oncology Centre of Excellence. You will shape the global oncology strategy across all drug development phases, act as the primary SME for Avance and its clients, and drive business development, investigator relationships and high-impact pre-award input to optimize project delivery.

Qualifications
- MD or equivalent required with specialist oncology qualification
- Significant oncology clinical research experience
- Proven client-facing, business development capability
- Excellent English communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel globally and work in a matrixed CRO environment
Responsibilities
- Shape and execute Avance Clinical’s global oncology strategy across all phases
- Engage sponsors and build investigator/KOL relationships
- Provide high-impact pre-award input to optimize delivery strategies
- Lead medical leadership in oncology and differentiate scientific leadership
- Represent Avance at oncology conferences and client meetings
