Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Sales Specialist to drive sales growth for the Animal Health segment across Australia & New Zealand. This 12-month full-time contract is based in Macquarie Park, NSW, with a flexible work arrangement and collaboration with field sales.

You will lead outbound prospecting, engage customers remotely, and support territory plans to achieve commercial objectives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years, or Associate's with 4+ years, or Bachelor's with 2+ years of sales or commercial experience.
• Experience conducting outbound phone-based sales activities, including cold calling and lead generation.
• Demonstrated experience managing customer interactions and developing sales opportunities through virtual or telephone engagement.
• Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple customer opportunities and priorities while consistently achieving activity targets.

Responsibilities

• Drive remote sales activities across assigned accounts and territories to achieve or exceed sales objectives.
• Identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities through proactive outreach and customer engagement.
• Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling and lead generation, to build and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline.
• Promote and educate customers on Medtronic products, services, and value propositions through virtual interactions.
• Partner with field sales representatives to coordinate customer activities, develop opportunities, and support territory plans.
• Analyse customer and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and actions that support business growth.
• Coordinate product demonstrations and facilitate connections between customers and field sales representatives where appropriate.
• Resolve customer enquiries and concerns in a timely manner while maintaining a high standard of customer experience.
