Job summary

UniSC seeks a Community Research Assistant to support the LYAS initiative in North West Queensland. You will coordinate participant recruitment, handle high-quality administration and responsive inquiries, and liaise with participants, staff and community stakeholders to ensure smooth program delivery.

The role focuses on culturally safe engagement, data handling, and proactive support within a fixed-term arrangement until January 2030.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of research administration, recruitment and data management processes.
• Understanding of culturally safe community engagement and Indigenous yarning approaches.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.
• Experience maintaining databases and ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to PSG/actigraphy tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end participant recruitment for the sleep health program in North West Queensland.
• Provide high-quality administration, prioritising routine activities and maintaining accurate records.
• Support recruitment, data collection and communication with participants and stakeholders.
