Job summary

Stantec is seeking an ICT & Security Consultant to contribute to the design and delivery of ICT, Security, and Audio-Visual projects across diverse sectors in Australia. You will collaborate with experienced consultants and multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, high-quality design solutions while growing technical expertise.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience in ICT, Electronic Security, Audio-Visual or telecommunications consulting, design or delivery.
• 2-5 years’ experience in Project Managing the delivery of ICT or Electronic Security, Audio Visual or telecommunications services.
• Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain a relevant state or territory Security Licence and an NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and documentation of ICT and Security engineering systems, including drawings, specifications and technical reports.
• Perform calculations and technical assessments using company and manufacturer software tools.
• Support the evaluation and selection of ICT and Security equipment and systems.
• Develop design documentation, diagrams, sketches and electronic models under the guidance of senior team members.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure designs are integrated and aligned with project objectives.
• Prepare construction documentation, specifications, schedules and design reports.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings and technical queries.
• Participate in site inspections and contract administration activities.
• Identify technical issues and work with senior staff to develop solutions.
• Attend project meetings and contribute to project coordination activities.
• Assist with cost planning and value engineering exercises.
• Support project delivery while maintaining quality, budget and program objectives.

Education

Relevant tertiary qualification in ICT, Security, Communications, Networking, AV Technology, Engineering or a related field
