Job summary

Secora seeks a mid-level Software Engineer (Full-Stack) to join the Secora Garage on a 6-month fixed-term project with potential to convert to fulltime. You’ll work on a complex oil and gas pilot, collaborating with Asset Specialists and AI engineers to deliver end-to-end full-stack solutions using Python and React, across Azure and data pipelines.

The role emphasizes problem framing, hands-on design, and practical delivery beyond specs.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years in full-stack software engineering.
• Strong Python and React skills with ETL/SQL capability.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and version control workflows.
• Azure preferred; AWS/GCP transferable experience is welcome.
• Proficient use of agentic coding tools such as Copilot or Claude Code.
• Clear communication of technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and build full-stack features across Python and React.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Build data pipelines and APIs integrating enterprise data sources.
• Collaborate with Asset Specialists and AI engineers.
• Contribute to solution design and framing problems beyond a brief.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies.
