Job summary

DRD Group is seeking experienced Excavator Operators and Remote Dredge Operators to support mining operations across WA's Goldfields & Pilbara regions. This is a FIFO role with a 8:6 roster and 12-hour days, offering ongoing project opportunities.

You will operate a 23-tonne long-reach excavator with a dredge attachment, supporting dredging, dewatering and water management across WA mine sites. A hands-on crew environment emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current Excavator Operator ticket.
• Proven excavator operating experience.
• Mining or civil operating experience.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work effectively within a small team.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Clean National Police Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators for dredging and dewatering operations.
• Assist with remote dredging activities.
• Handle, position and relocate pumps, hoses and pipework.
• Move and set up equipment across site.
• Assist with general site duties and operational activities.
• Work collaboratively with the crew to maintain safe and efficient operations.
• Adhere to all site safety procedures and requirements.
