Job summary

Tyro Payments Limited is seeking a Customer Support professional to champion the voice of our customers and collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Sales and other teams. You’ll operate on a rotating roster between 7am and 7pm, with some weekends, and enjoy the flexibility to work from home or from our CBD office.

On a typical day you’ll use exceptional customer service skills to assist EFTPOS, Banking and eCommerce customers, aiming to delight on the first call and empower customers

Qualifications

• Experience in Retail, Hospitality or Contact Centre.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a rotating roster with flexibility for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls in a professional and efficient manner.
• Educate customers about Tyro’s products and services.
• Troubleshoot issues regarding terminals and eCommerce enquiries.
• Guide customers through the EFTPOS activation process.
• Resolve complaints with effective communication and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify or create solutions.
• Record detailed notes of merchant enquiries promptly.
• Uphold Tyro’s risk culture by following policies and training.
