Quantum Behaviour is seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to design and implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans for NDIS participants. You will conduct needs assessments and develop person-centered plans in collaboration with clients and families.

This remote role is ideally based in Central/Central West NSW (Parkes, Forbes, Dubbo). Applicants must be Australian citizens with at least 2 years of experience and current PBS registration. Travel is reimbursed in addition to base pay.

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, ABA, Behavioural Science, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Social Work, Disability or Social Sciences.
• Applicants must be Australian citizens to be eligible for this position.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering supports to people with complex behaviour support needs.
• Demonstrated understanding of Positive Behaviour Support principles including person-centered supports and individualized assessment/planning.
• Current NSW C Class Driver’s Licence, Comprehensive Car Insurance, and willingness to travel (travel reimbursement paid).
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Behaviour Support Practitioner registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (mandatory for contract positions).
• Willingness to maintain CPD requirements per internal procedures.

Additional work types (full-time, part-time) may be negotiated for the right candidate.

WORK LOCATION

This role is a remote (work from home) position although, ideally based inDubbo NSW. The successful candidateMUST be located in Central/Central West NSW –Parkes, Forbes, Dubbo.

REUMERATION

$120 – $134 + Super

PURPOSE OF ROLE

Behaviour Support Practitioners are an essential component of our operational and clinical teams. The primary purpose of the Behaviour Support Practitioner role is to design, develop, and implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans for NDIS Participants to increase their quality of life. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work with clients and their support network to conduct Behaviour Support Needs Assessments and develop Positive Behaviour Support Plans that respond to the needs of Participants to support them achieve their goals and increase their quality of life.

QUALIFICATIONS & MANDATORY EXPERIENCE

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Behavioural Science, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Social Work, Disability or Social Sciences or similar
• Applicants must be Australian citizens only to be eligible for this position
• Have a minimum 2 years’ experience in the delivery supports to people with complex behaviour support needs.
• Demonstrated understanding of Positive Behaviour Support principals including person-centered supports and the need for individualised assessment and planning.
• Current NSW Issued C Class Driver’s Licence, Comprehensive Care Insurance, and a willingness to travel as per role requirements travel reimbursement is paid to the employee in addition to their base rate of pay.
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
• Behaviour Support Practitioner registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission – For contract based positions, this is mandatory.
• Willingness to maintain CPD requirements as per Quantum Behaviour’s internal procedures.
