Qualifications

• Master’s/PhD in relevant field or equivalent research experience.
• Hands-on sequencing/omics data analysis experience.
• Proficient with core bioinformatics tools listed above.
• Ability to create and run reproducible Jupyter notebooks.

Responsibilities

• Complete realistic, multi-step bioinformatics data-analysis tasks.
• Create original scientific questions with exact, objectively verifiable answers.
• Select and anonymize datasets from public repositories or eligible private research data.
• Use scientific software, code, and command-line tools to produce reproducible analyses.
• Develop Jupyter validation notebooks in Python or R to reproduce analytical results.
• Interpret findings in biological or translational contexts, documenting assumptions, uncertainty, and conclusions.
• Deliver structured outputs and clear scientific explanations.
