Talent Quarter is actively recruiting Remote Area Nurses for short-term contracts across Western Australia, Northern Territory and South Australia. You will provide health care services to remote communities, work autonomously and as part of a supportive team, and adapt to challenging environments.

The roles offer competitive base rates up to $85 per hour plus penalties and super, with transport and subsidised accommodation provided. Weekly pay and rotating rosters enhance flexibility.

Formación

• Bachelor of Nursing qualification and current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 2 years in remote or rural healthcare settings.
• Ability to work autonomously outside hospital environment.
• Evidence of prior service and relevant trauma/acute care experience.
• Specific qualifications or training for specialty area and National police certificate.
• A valid Ochre Card.

Responsabilidades

• Develop individualized care plans based on patients' needs and goals in collaboration with patient, family and health care team.
• Provide skilled nursing interventions to patients in their homes (wound care, medications, IV therapy, catheter care, and disease management).
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms and response to treatment; intervene as needed.
• Inspect wounds, change dressings, and assist with personal hygiene.
• Test for muscle weakness, bedsores, and signs of infection.
• Compile reports for the physician and monitor patient recovery.
