We seek professionals who bridge theory and application in economics and finance. Position: Applied Economics & Finance Benchmark Specialist (Contract).

Location: Remote. Commitment: 10+ hours/week. Compensation: $77–$98/hour.

Qualifications

PhD or doctoral candidate in Economics or Finance.
Strong command of graduate-level economic theory and quantitative methods.
Excellent written English with ability to express complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Master's degree may be considered for exceptional depth in a subdomain.

Responsibilities

Author original economics and finance questions that test deep conceptual understanding, not surface-level recall.
Ensure questions are unambiguous, self-contained, and precisely defined with all necessary information in the problem statement.
Rate each question's difficulty as Medium, Hard, or Expert, and provide 1 correct answer with 9 plausible but subtly incorrect alternatives.
Write step-by-step Chain-of-Thought solutions with clear, concise intermediate steps in markdown format.
Supply 1–5 academic references per question from reputable sources.
Flag issues with clarity, completeness, precision, or solvability and justify edits made.
