Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking Masters and PhD-level researchers to collaborate with leading AI labs on challenging problems that push AI to think, reason, and perform better. This fully remote, flexible contract role offers 10-40 hours per week and asynchronous collaboration with top researchers.

You will design, evaluate, and refine AI reasoning capabilities while maintaining high standards of rigor and clarity across deliverables. Prior publication experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in a STEM or highly technical field.
• Proven research track record with publications or complex projects.
• Excellent written communication and clarity.
• Self-directed, reliable, and able to work asynchronously.
• Eager to apply expertise to frontier AI research.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and solve advanced, multi-disciplinary problems across your domain of expertise - the kind of problems that genuinely challenge state-of-the-art AI
• Apply your research background to craft complex problem statements that stress-test and improve AI reasoning capabilities
• Review and evaluate AI-generated outputs for academic rigor, logical soundness, and technical accuracy
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to elevate model performance
• Ensure the highest standards of clarity, depth, and intellectual integrity across all deliverables
