Job summary

AMP in Sydney is seeking a Remediation Specialist to lead end-to-end remediation for the Platforms business, covering problem assessment, methodology design, compensation calculations, governance and approval.

You will develop robust financial models using historical data and client inputs, ensuring outcomes are compliant with policy and regulatory expectations, and coordinate with Tax, Legal, Risk and Customer Advocate functions to deliver timely, fair client remediation.

How you'll make an impact

The Remediation Specialist plays a critical role in delivering fair, accurate and timely customer outcomes by owning the design and delivery of end-to-end remediation solutions for small to large-scale incidents and issues within the Platforms business. The role leads remediation from problem assessment and methodology design through to compensation calculations, validation, governance, stakeholder engagement and approval.

This includes developing robust financial models and calculation approaches using historical financial, unit pricing and client data, ensuring outcomes are evidence-based, compliant with policy and regulatory expectations, and capable of withstanding internal and external review.

In this role, you will:

• Develop incident closure and client remediation solutions, including financial compensation methodologies and models using historical financial, unit pricing and client data.
• Support delivery of remediation solutions, including required sign-offs from the Business or Risk Event Owner, Tax, Legal, Risk and Customer Advocate functions.
• Work with Incident Specialists and Risk Event Owners to develop remediation delivery plans, communicate key milestones and activities, and clearly articulate risks and issues for senior leadership consideration.
• Develop and deliver effective, timely and quality remediation solutions that comply with AMP's Compensation and Remediation policy and standard and align with applicable industry regulations.
• Ensure all processes and decisions are appropriately documented and stored to support internal or external audit review of remediation activities.
• Apply high-quality data analysis to support accurate, fair and timely remediation outcomes for clients

What you will bring to the team

Ideally, you will bring the following experiences to this role:

• Good superannuation technical knowledge across Platforms, including investments, unit pricing and managed portfolios.
• Proven experience in remediation activities and/or financial calculations.
• Demonstrated experience in the end-to-end management of large, complex programmes or projects
• Experience managing concurrent workstreams across multiple projects, typically three to five at a time.
• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
