AECOM is seeking an Associate Director Data Centre Mechanical Engineer to lead cutting-edge data centre projects in Sydney. The role offers global project exposure, mentorship for junior engineers, and a path to leadership within a collaborative, innovative team.

You will oversee mechanical design, drive performance and energy efficiency, and manage client relationships while guiding multidisciplinary teams.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; professional registration is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Design Excellence: Oversee the mechanical design and engineering for data centre projects, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Project Leadership: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Proven track record in mechanical engineering within the data centre sector, with a focus on design and project management.
• Qualifications: Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field; professional engineering registration is a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive project success.
• Global Perspective: Experience working in or with data centre markets from prominent regions is highly desirable.
