Inverell Shire Council is seeking expressions of interest for a Relieving Operator to support the Civil Services team. Duties include operating powered mobile plant such as loaders, graders, skid steers, and excavators, and assisting in civil construction projects like roadworks and drainage.

Inspections of infrastructure ensure safe and well-maintained facilities. Remuneration starts at $1,118.30 per week, with Adverse Working Conditions allowance and overtime where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience operating powered mobile plant in civil works.
• Knowledge of road construction, parks maintenance and stormwater drainage activities.
• Commitment to safety standards and site inspections.

Responsibilities
