Icon Oncology Group seeks a versatile Pharmacist to join Slade Pharmacy at Mater Hospital North Sydney with regular travel to Greater Sydney and Central Coast locations. You will gain hospital and oncology pharmacy experience across multiple sites, delivering patient-focused care.

You’ll work in diverse environments, support clinical teams, and enjoy incentives and allowances for travel, with training provided for hands-on development and career growth.

Qualifications

• Previous dispensing experience in an Australian hospital or community pharmacy.
• Current general registration with AHPRA.
• Current drivers' licence and roadworthy vehicle fit for purpose.
• Ability to commit to a frequent travel role.
• Permanent Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation.
• Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products.
• Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients.
• Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees.
• Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines.

About The Role

Your primary base will be at Slade Pharmacy in Mater Hospital North Sydney, and you will regularly travel to various locations within Greater Sydney and the Central Coast.

Specific Incentives & Benefits

• Incentive Allowance - This is a fixed allowance on top of the base salary
• Mileage Allowance - Be compensated for petrol costs and depreciation of when using your personal vehicle for work purposes. TOIL and additional mileage allowances are provided for further travel.
• Overnight Allowance - On occasions where work takes you away for more than a day.

Key Responsibilities (may vary according to site)
