Job summary

Department of Health in Tasmania seeks a relief Paramedic to provide coverage at outer-urban and Branch stations in line with established guidelines and the relevant position description. Maintain constant contact with the State Communications Centre, in accordance with Ambulance Tasmania policies and protocols.

You must be registered with the Paramedicine Board of Australia and hold a Bachelor of Paramedic Science or an approved equivalent; a pre-employment check is required before taking up

Responsibilities

• Provide relief at outer-urban and Branch stations as required within established guidelines and working in accordance with the appropriate position description for the position being relieved.
• Maintain constant contact with the State Communications Centre, in accordance with Ambulance Tasmania (AT) policies and protocols.

Education

Bachelor of Paramedic Science

Relevant work experience or other qualification approved by the Service
