Job summary

Advantaged Care Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Assistant Cook to join the culinary team at Minchinbury Manor in the Rooty Hill area on a permanent part-time basis. The Relief Cook will act as the in-charge chef when on duty and contribute to continual improvement in service delivery and quality.

The role offers ongoing permanent part-time shifts with an immediate start. A strong passion for quality in aged care and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Hospitality/Commercial Cookery required.
• Minimum of 6 months cooking experience as an Assistant Cook or Relief Chef.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be desired.
• Strong passion for quality and leadership in aged care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing kitchen operations as Relief Cook during on-duty shifts.
• Prepare meals to high quality standards for residents in aged care facilities.
