Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a Relief Care Manager to lead clinical teams across multiple NSW West care communities. You will support the General Manager and clinical teams to deliver excellence in resident care on short- or long-term assignments, driving continuous improvement and strong team culture.

The role emphasizes flexibility, leadership, and accountability, with opportunities for mentoring and professional development within a supportive network.

Qualifications

• Experience in Leadership or Management role in an aged care or other health sectors desired
• Fully flexible to travel to support organisational requirements
• Knowledge of aged care industry, regulations and funding (AACQA; ACFI)

Responsibilities

• Lead care team across assigned care communities to deliver excellence in resident care.
• Actively monitor the delivery of Aged Care Standards across communities.
• Build meaningful relationships with team, residents and their families; mentor clinicians and foster positive culture.

The opportunity:

As a Relief Care Manager you will be an experienced Clinician with the capacity to flexibly work across a number of our Care Communities within NSW West. You will support the General Manager of the assigned home, on a short or longer term basis, in leading their care team to deliver excellence in care to our residents.

• Work across a number our Care Communities across Western NSW
• Support the General Manager & clinical teams at the assigned care community
• Short term & long term assignments
• Promote continuous clinical improvement
• Leading their care team to deliver excellence in care to our residents.
• Actively monitor the ongoing successful delivery of the Aged Care Standards
• Build meaningful relationships with our team, residents and their families
• Develop & mentor a team of clinicians and contribute to positive team culture
