Job summary

Pact Contract Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineering Manager to lead the maintenance team at the Fairfield homecare site. You will drive reliability, safety and continuous improvement across the operation, aligning preventative, predictive and planning maintenance programs with production needs.

You will manage SAP PM/CMMS, coordinate contractors, and lead root cause analyses to improve uptime and OEE while controlling maintenance budgets and CAPEX.

Qualifications

• Maintenance engineering experience within FMCG, food, packaging, or similar manufacturing.
• Proven leadership of maintenance teams and contractors.
• Sound knowledge of preventive maintenance, reliability improvement and shutdown planning.
• Experience using SAP PM or CMMS systems.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A hands‑on leadership style with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead site maintenance activities, contractors and maintenance trades.
• Drive preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Manage SAP PM/CMMS systems, maintenance schedules and work orders.
• Lead root cause analysis and breakdown investigations.
• Support production through planned shutdowns, changeovers and equipment commissioning.
• Ensure correct layout of equipment and drive reliability and OEE improvements.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts and contractor performance and CAPEX.
• Lead safety, compliance and continuous improvement programs.
