Job summary

CareCone Group in Australia is seeking an experienced Release Manager to oversee end-to-end release processes across SIT, UAT, PPT and PROD, coordinating with delivery, testing, DevOps, platform, operations and security teams.

You will handle release scope, gating, change governance (CHG/CAB), artefact management and go/no-go activities, with hands-on exposure to GitLab/Jenkins, Salesforce environments, Terraform, JIRA and Confluence.

Qualifications

• Experience in release management across SIT/UAT/PPT/PROD environments.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tooling and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with change governance (CHG/CAB) processes.
• Hands-on exposure to Salesforce Core & Commerce release processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end release management across multiple environments (SIT, UAT, PPT, PROD).
• Coordinate branching, version control, and CI/CD with GitLab/Jenkins.
• Manage change governance, including CHG/CAB coordination and release approvals.
• Support artefact management, Go/No-Go, and hypercare activities.
• Collaborate with delivery, testing, DevOps, platform, operations and security teams.
• Work with Salesforce release tooling (SFDX) and related deployment tech (GitLab, Terraform, JIRA, Confluence).
• Assist with deployment automation, CI/CD orchestration, rollback, and environment promotion controls.

Job description

End-to-end release management across SIT, UAT, PPT, and PROD

Release scope control, code freeze, and deployment gating

Branching, version control and CI/CD coordination using GitLab/Jenkins

Change governance, including CHG / CAB coordination and release approvals

Release artefact management, status reporting, Go/No-Go support and hypercare coordination

Cross-team coordination across delivery, testing, DevOps, platform, operations and security teams

Salesforce release environments and deployment tooling, ideally with exposure to Salesforce Core & Commerce, sandbox-based release processes, and tools such as SFDX / GitLab / Terraform / JIRA / Confluence

Deployment automation skills are desired, including hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline orchestration, automated deployments, release gating, rollback support, and environment promotion controls
